It is a fact that people find it difficult to adapt to change, if changes are happening, fast, like the avalanche of developments, this generation is experiencing.
Such changes have been taking place, in multiple areas, including technological, political, social, scientific, and economic fields.
The consequences have a deep effect, on every individual, who is obliged to adapt, to revolutionary new conditions, in very short periods.
Such consequences become evident in everyday life, in many forms of activity, including management of many businesses and state administration.
Dramatic changes, mostly, inhibits insecurity to various levels of management i.e., investors, board members, senior executives. This insecurity eventually is passed down to employees and workforce of a company, or citizens of a country.
Consequently Insecurity, inevitably affects the economic growth in an economy.
No one doubts that, special qualities are needed for top management to ensure success.
Management decisions were, mostly based on knowledge, relevant expertise and previous experiences, acquired under relatively, similar and stable conditions.
In addition, sufficient Management attributes, for a successful activity, were considered to be, good foresight, determination, intelligence, and adaptability.
At the same time, assuming that resources, such as, raw materials, energy, capital, and work force, were, , available, the task of administrations was easier, mainly, due to easier predictability.
The technological evolution helped the administration to utilize the tools, and information that, increasingly, played an important role in decision-making, and implementation processes.
This, I might say, was the ‘golden age’ of harnessing human intelligence, which helped to transform production means, from traditional forms, (raw materials, labor, industrial production capability, capital, infrastructure, automation, environment, and even culture) to intellectual property rights, an additional value, gained from human innovation and creative thinking.
These, to my view, reached the limit of the evolution of humanity as we know it until recently.
I am referring to the evolution of humanity as we experienced it during all industrial revolutions, first, second, third and fourth revolutions.
The last revolution which we call it information technology revolution, introduced the social media that gave humanity the capability of unlimited mass communication and access to knowledge and information on the slip of a moment.
Knowledge and communication became a resource of infinite value, a new kind of property, available to the whole of humanity offering unlimited possibilities.
Infinite possibilities, that humanity could utilize to cover needs as they are assumed by human perception.
Such explosion of information and speed of transfer of information has reached the point humans could not absorb, or make efficient use of.
This became the turning point of human evolution. Artificial intelligence came to fill the gap and enhance human capabilities in a dramatic way.
Artificial intelligence has arrived replacing humans starting from the high levels of human expertise, i.e. starting from management.
That is, in the form of oxymoron, those who created the conditions for the creation of databases, the availability of information to the general public, the development of information transfer networks at unimaginably high speeds gave artificial intelligence the weapons to replace them.
The last step made top managers, governors of nations and enterprises look like comic-tragic figures, as cartoon characters.
Artificial intelligence enabled the construction of business models, human society models, which can be bombard with infinite information and study the results, until an optimal solution is found under any possible conditions.
This artificial intelligence can and does play the role of legislative, executive, and judicial power better than members of parliament and an independent supreme court.
No one had suspected this.
Even today rectors, universities, supreme judges, heads of governments and Chiefs of states do not suspect what has happened.
Even today scientists talk about rules and conditions that can be imposed on artificial intelligence systems, but we have already reached the level of self-acting.
We have already reached the level of artificial intelligence communication with the human brain, taking and giving commands, very soon we will see humans communicating with other humans with the intermediate use of artificial intelligence.
It is the ultimate and amazing human creation, which sets the beginning of a new evolutionary process
At this rate of development, where will we be able to reach in the next 50 years?
